Are you looking for a regular small group swimming lesson to help your child develop a love for the water?
Our lessons have a maximum of four pupils per class, and our teachers are in the water for all but our advanced swimmers.
We take children for group lessons from 3 years upwards and offer them a class where they are carefully matched to other children of a similar age and ability, helping them to feel more at ease, more quickly.
Each child is invited for a FREE TRIAL lesson which enables our teachers to assess the new swimmer in relation to our other swimmers to determine the best class. We will then offer as many options as possible so you can choose the class that best suits your circumstances. Sometimes children aren’t quite ready at 3 years. If this is the case, we also have a Parent and Child class which might be of interest in the interim.
Our lessons currently run at three holiday parks in the Looe area of Cornwall;
Our lessons run weekly during term-time, in half term blocks, typically of 5-7 weeks. We work on related skills for the whole term, enabling children plenty of opportunity to develop these fully before moving to a new set of skills. Through 20 years of experience, we have found this method to be successful in developing confident swimmers with strong strokes and good technique.
Due to this method of teaching, we are not able to award either STA or Swim England awards (Ducklings, Stage/Level awards etc.), but have developed our own awards scheme which complements the best from both of the awarding bodies awards schemes. Every pupil will receive a FREE certificate every term*.
(*Requires a minimum of 80% attendance)
From January 2019, we are hoping to start lessons in the following areas;
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to register your interest in lessons at either of these locations so we can keep you posted as plans progress.
